magic is forbidden and deceitful magic punished, magic pervades the very air; A
mysterious egg holds the key to an ailing boy’s health – and an evil wizard’s
revenge…a lucky demon and a bushel of silver apples almost ruin an eager fruit
merchant…A strange cloak with sea-blue eyes sets a comely young woman on the
path to her dreams… A rogue shape-changing hyn created havoc for its “master”…A
breathtaking witch and a eerie carving inspire a young man’s first
passion…Dwarf artisans discover the beauty of the world-and of themselves…and
the greatest magic of all lies in the tales and the tale-tellers if Ithkar
Fair.
