Synopsis ~
At magical Ithkar Fair, where the devout worship
and hucksters trade, few things are as they appear to be, and few of the
faithful (and faithless) remain unchanged: A bawd struggles to lose her virtue,
a quest almost becomes a death warrant, a fortune-teller predicts ruin – or
does he? A flute weaves a spell of magic unknown to the player, a beautiful
bird courts a beautiful woman, tricksters are themselves tricked, and the
worthy are rewarded – in sometimes surprising fashion.
