Collecting Andre Norton

I Recently came across what I think to be an excellent article on collecting Andre Norton. Even though it is fairly old (printed in 1996) it is one of the best articles I have found concerning Andre's works.

The Article comes from a magazine called - First: The Book Collector's Magazine, vol. 6, no. 10, October 1996, this is a fairly rare and expensive periodical, so I share the article for those who may be interested in collecting Andre Norton's works. It has two parts, the first is the main article and the second is a price list of Andre's books done by the editors.

Profile of Andre Norton

This is fairly old (printed in 1977) of Andre Norton, this was the year I graduated High school which for me gives it the interesting factor.

The Article comes from a magazine called - ALGOL: the Magazine About Science Fiction, Vol. 14, No. 3, Issue No.29, Summer-Fall 1977, this is a rare periodical and so I share the article for those who may be interested in reading about Andre Norton.

An Interview with Andre Norton

Even though this interview is fairly old (printed in 1987) it is supposedly done on her 75th birthday, which gives it the interesting factor.

An Interview with Andre Norton

In my opinion this is a fairly interesting interview with Andre Norton. Even though it is fairly old (printed in 1989) it is conducted by A.C. Crispin whom has co-authored several works with Andre, which gives it the interesting factor.

The Article comes from a magazine called - STARLOG, No's 146 & 147, September & October 1989, this is a fairly rare periodical and so I share the article for those who may be interested in reading Andre Norton's words.

I couldn't begin to say why the STARLOG people chose to print the first half of the interview in black & white and the second half in color with the ugliest yellow pages they could come up with. There are color pages in vol. 146 but not as many as in vol. #147 and I should add that vol. #147 does seem to be made of better quality paper.
